Be careful what you wish for

During the winter months here in Germany I wished and wished for warmer weather, and now that it's here, it's a little too much.  It was 85 degrees today, which wouldn't be that bad if I wasn't living in an attic apartment with no air conditioning.  It's much cooler outside than it is inside my apartment.  To combat the heat, yesterday some friends and I went to the Heidbergsee, a lake on the outskirts of Braunschweig.  We didn't swim because the water was still too cold, but we grilled out, read, listened to music, played volleyball, and had a good time in the sun.  I hope in a week or so the water will be warm enough to swim in!
