Today is the international remembrance day for the Holocaust. January 27th is the day that Auschwitz was liberated by the Russian Army in 1945. It is actually a coincidence that I am leaving tomorrow morning to visit Krakow, Poland with Ginny. We are taking a tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau (located about 1 hour outside of Krakow) on Sunday and will spend the previous 2 days checking out this beautiful city. It should be a very interesting trip!
