Wolfenbüttel

Today I took a small excursion to a "suburb" of Braunschweig called Wolfenbüttel that was founded in the 1000's.  For a while it was the residence of the Dukes of Brunswick and the famous playwright Gotthold Ephraim Lessing lived here as well.  Compared to Braunschweig, Wolfenbüttel was not really bombed during the second world war, so it has that feeling of being older and quainter than Braunschweig.
