Lane's visit to Braunschweig

Last week, after we got back from Croatia, Lane came to stay with me in Braunschweig for a week.  When we got off the train and onto the bus, it started to rain really hard, but then the skies opened up and there was a bright, full rainbow across the sky.  It was beautiful.  It rained Monday and Tuesday, so Lane and I had 2 lazy days, which I think we also deserved since our schedule in Croatia was kind of crazy full.  We did a little shopping and some amazing cooking.  The next couple days, I showed Lane the main sites around Braunschweig, and we were even able to take a bike ride in the Riddagshausen Nature Park.  She came to class with me, met my students, and helped me with my conversation groups.  I was so grateful to get to spend so much time with her, since I had not seen her in so long.  To see all the pictures from our adventures, click here.
