I've decided that living in Braunschweig is a little like living in Disney World. At Disney World they have "hidden Mickeys" that you can look for all over their parks and stores. In Braunschweig, almost every building or monument has a lion on it. Here are just a few.
I feel like this is a common theme in European Cities....I know Bath, England has pigs everywhere...but those sorts of things are more of a modern art movement. It seems the Lions are perhaps more a mascot of the city that goes back further. Neat!
