Today I was teaching a class of 13th graders. I had given them an assignment, and they were working quietly. All of a sudden, a bunch of them started shouting and ran towards the window. A few others ran out the door. When I asked them what was going on, they explained that a man was outside checking out the back racks and trying to find one to steal. When I got to the window, he had found one and was about to ride away, when 2 students from my class confronted him. Apparently, he tried to convince them that it was his bike and he was just picking it up. They said they didn't believe him and then he ran away.
The two students who ran outside: the two smallest girls in the class. The big strong boys in the class just sat there. What happened to chivalry?
