Tonight I went to my first German soccer game! It was really awesome cultural experience. The name of the Braunschweig team is Eintracht Braunschweig, which means unity. Their colors are blue and gold and their mascot is the lion of course. They actually won the German championship a few years ago and are still really proud of it. They game was against Bremen. We ended up losing 2-1, but I learned lots of the team songs and that it's best if you bring a flag or scarf to wave. If not, you feel like you're missing out on part of the experience.
