Hello London!

We have all arrived in London and had an awesome time seeing the sights today. Since my parents and I have both been to London before, we decided to only see a few things that we had missed before. We all started out at the British Museum, seeing the mummies and the Rosetta stone. Then I split off from the group to go and visit the tower of London. When I was here two years ago, I saw the Tower, but only from the outside. This time I went through all the buildings, saw the crown jewels, the torture chambers, the armory, and the king's former bedroom. It was really cool, and a lot bigger on the inside than I thought it would be. After a little rest at the hotel, we went to the "Ye Olde Cock Pub" for dinner and ate authentic steak and ale pie and fish and chips. It was absolutely delicious! To top everything off, we went on a nighttime river cruise on the Thames. Tomorrow we're off to Stonehenge, Salisbury, and Bath!
